ROYAL RUSSELL SCHOOL
SCIENCE BLOCK

Education

Completed in August 2020; CLArchitects designed a 550m2 extension to the Science Block at the Royal Russel School.

The building forms part of a quad with a colonnade and glazed main entrance welcoming students into the double height entrance foyer.

The architecture is modern and responds to its historic context with window surrounds, brick detailing, horizontal banding and contemporary colonnade tying the Extension with Locally Listed Buildings.

The extension comprises of four new teaching laboratories with smart boards, four fume cupboards, two classrooms, plus sundry preparation and storage spaces.

CLArchitects worked closely with The Royal Russell School to deliver a building that met their specific requirements.
