Christian Lawrence studied at Greenwich University. He worked for Nightingale Associates between 2000 and 2009. He established CC Studio Architects in 2009 before setting up CLArchitects in 2015.

He has worked on various projects including Mid Kent College’s campuses in Medway and Maidstone, West Herts College’s New Hempstead Road Campus, Student Accommodation for Ashford School and the Catering & Hospitality department at Croydon College.

Christian has been involved in the regeneration of the Old High Street in Folkestone, designing the refurbishment of 23-29 to 18-24 which contains the very popular Steep Street Café.

In Dover CLArchitects have worked for Dover Harbour Board gaining planning consent for the conversion of the Grade 2 listed Protea House from offices to nine Flats; this has led to the practice being appointed to work on the conversion of Cambridge Terrace. These scheme are key to the Dover waterfront redevelopment.
