6TH FORM CAFE

Completed in September 2018, Drapers 6th Form Cafe replaced a tired 70's style cafe which was in a desperate need of modernisation. The existing Cafe was dominated by a servery taking up majority of the space.

Our approach included analysis to identify the common zones for the usual use of the space. From there, we captured 5 zones, including the servery, comfy seating, informal dining, group dining and breakfast bar zone.

The interiors responded to the use identified and were designed in an industrial style with black sprayed ceilings, exposed services and elements of timber cladding to visually warm up the comfy pockets of space.
