KENT BLOCK EXTENSION

Education

Dover College appointed CLArchitects to design an extension to their Kent Block; containing classroom accommodation and an SEN Centre.

Externally the extension responds to the architecture of the existing building with strong horizontal and vertical elements which are softened with the use of larch cladding.

Internally the SEN centre offers a mix of one to one rooms and quiet study areas in a warm inviting environment.  The classroom are state of the art with Imac’s and comfort cooling creating the high quality teaching environment for Dover College.

CL Architects were the contract Administrators and the project was completed in July 2019 on budget.
