Residential Development at Cheriton High Street, Folkestone

CLArchitects obtained planning consent for a modern 2 storey block of 4 flats following the demolition of the existing single storey rear extension to the rear of 45 Cheriton High Street.

The proposals represent a new contemporary building in a traditional urban terraced street which isn’t dominant relative to the main building facing the high street.

The Park Road elevation has been subdivided in to 4 elements to create a vertical emphasis to what is a long low lying building.

Planning permission was granted in February 2016.
